Men’s NCAA qualifiers by the numbers

D and E score breakdown by the numbers. Neutral deduction for Michigan going in the wrong order on FX NOT included (I assume they will never do that again). Stick bonus is included in the D score.

Quick and dirty -

The closer teams or athletes are in ability, the larger the role luck will play in the outcome.

Most teams appeared to have kept something in the tank for finals.

Stanford has the highest difficulty, but they are not so far ahead they can walk in and take it. Their closest competitor should be Michigan, who should be able to compete 160 + difficulty in the final.

Teams that are only three to four points behind another team in total D score can finish ahead of the team with a higher difficulty if they hit/the other team makes a few errors.
